The finishing post of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival is coming into view – boo!
That does mean one thing though, we can all revel in watching whether Galopin Des Champs can create history in the Cheltenham Gold Cup on Friday (4pm).
The Willie Mullins superstar can become the fifth horse to win the Gold Cup on three occasions – and he’s short in the market to do so.
So, Paddy Power trader Adam Killeen, who tipped up a tidy 7/2 NAP on Tuesday, has been crunching the numbers to find some alternative ways to back the huge favourite in Friday’s showpiece.

Galopin Des Champs 3 Lengths Or More
Galopin Des Champs has won by three lengths or more in the last two renewals of the Gold Cup.
Galopin Des Champs 4 Lengths Or More
Galopin Des Champs has won by four lengths or more on his last two starts.
Banbridge Top 3 Finish
Banbridge has finished in the top three on seven of his nine career starts on ground officially given as good to soft or better.
Inothewayurthinkin Top 4 Finish
Inothewayurthinkin has finished in the top four on three of his four starts over three miles or further.
Montys Star Top 3 Finish
Montys Star has finished in the top three on five of his six starts over fences.
The Real Whacker Top 3 Finish
The Real Whacker has finished in the top three on four of his six starts at Cheltenham over fences.
Galopin Des Champs To Win & Either Banbridge Or Inothewayurthinkin To Finish 2nd
Galopin Des Champs has won the last two Gold Cups beating the third favourite (Bravemansgame) in 2023 & the second favourite (Gerri Colombe) in 2024, while neither of those oppose him here it looks like it will be a similar story here with Banbridge and Inothewayurthinkin looking clear of the rest of their rivals in the race to finish second.
This bet looks a great way to get Galopin Des Champs on side at a generous price.
Galopin Des Champs To Win By 4 Lengths Or More & Banbridge To Finish 2nd
This bet looks like having a great chance. Banbridge won the King George which is the strongest race run in Britain this season and Galopin Des Champs has won the two best races run in Ireland this season.
Banbridge is a new challenge and adds extra intrigue to this race but Galopin Des Champs has proven himself over this gruelling stamina test in each of the last two renewals.
Looking at this race it is not hard to see these two battling down to the last fence and Galopin Des Champ’s proven stamina up this famous hill resulting in him winning by over four lengths and leaving Banbridge in second.
