13:50 – Media Mogul
MEDIA MOGUL had seemingly been brought along with handicaps in mind and he caught the eye on his debut in this sphere at Kempton last month. He had no problem with the step up to a mile and a half, but still looked a work in progress, shuffled back when short of room two furlongs out. There should be more to come and he remains of interest at 1lb lower. Stylish course and distance winner Flying Scotsman is a big threat, though, while Market House is another who can have a big say in an open contest.
14:22 – Manton Road
A few with chances, but Gay Kelleway’s MANTON ROAD is thriving at present, and fancied to defy a 6lb penalty for his idling Kempton victory. He didn’t shape badly over an extended mile at this course two days earlier and should have more to offer at this level. Bantz figures on a handy-looking mark, and heads the dangers, with in-form pair What What What and Falaise Blanc also in the mix.
14:52 – Rainbow Nebula
A small field, but an interesting novice, with all four worth considering. RAINBOW NEBULA has worn a visor in both of his starts, but was beaten only by a smart prospect over this course and distance six weeks ago, and with the prospect of even more to come, shades the vote over two penalised winners and a well-bred debutant.
15:22 – Brewing
None of these can be ruled out, but BREWING rates as the pick of the weights, following a 2lb rise for his cosy win over this course and distance in January. This track suits him and he’s fancied to record a fifth win at the track and fourth over this course and distance. Andrew Balding’s Lady Flora returned from a lay-off with a good Kempton second and rates as a big danger, while course specialist William Dewhirst and Nikovo warrant plenty of respect.

15:52 – Monks Dream
MONKS DREAM was a two-time winner at this course as a juvenile, including over course and distance, and he signalled he’s ready to strike again at this track over six furlongs last month. He was well backed on that occasion, unlucky to bump into a thriving rival, travelling best of all but headed close home. The return to five furlongs helps and he remains on a fair mark. Buzz Box could emerge as the chief threat to Tim Easterby’s charge ahead of in-form trio Glory Fighter, Dark Kestrel and Strong Power.
16:22 – Harry Did
HARRY DID didn’t enjoy the rub of the green when fourth at Kempton last time out, left poorly placed given the way the race panned out, and can capitalise on a 1lb lower mark with a straight six furlongs and a stiff finish expected to suit his style better. Bellagio Man also wasn’t seen to ideal effect in a recent third over course and distance, so rates a big danger, while others to consider in a competitive sprint are Whats In The Bag, Roaring Ralph and Blackjack.
16:52 – Odds Socks Havana
ODD SOCKS HAVANA is a multiple winner over course and distance, but hasn’t enjoyed the best of runs in recent starts, unlucky with the draw and caught on the flank last time, and is fancied to bounce back in style now having dropped 1b below his last winning mark. Wyvern is weighted to go close. if back on song, and could emerge as the main threat to Rebecca Menzies’ seven-year-old, with fellow course victors Drafted and Pallas Lord also in the picture.
