16:25 Moulin Booj
Robert Cowell holds a strong hand courtesy of Rhythm N Hooves and Ziggy’s Missile (second choice), while Blind Beggar is capable at this level and Mon Na Slieve and The Fixer will click at some point. MOULIN BOOJ has had a short break since a couple of solid efforts to round off his 2024 campaign, though, and he can register a fifth success.
17:00 Hebridean Nomad
Andrew Balding’s unexposed colt HEBRIDEAN NOMAD has had the form of his latest 1m4f course third boosted and it’s possible this step up to 1m6f will see him pull out a bit more. Swinging London is feared most with the return to 1m6f in his favour. Cinnodin is also handicapped to play a prominent role if shrugging off a below-par reappearance.
17:30 Charmaine (NAP)
Kinetic and Sid’s Annie, who fought out the finish at Kempton at the beginning of February, should be in the mix once more, but even more appealing are the pair who contested the valuable fillies’ handicap at Lingfield the previous month. Fourth-placed Therapist is much respected but CHARMAINE (nap) (eighth) did not get the run of things that day and can bounce back in these shallower waters. She’s well bred, lightly raced and promises to be suited by today’s longer distance.
18:00 Zeus Olympios
An interesting novice. The fact ZEUS OLYMPIOS was backed off the boards on his Kempton debut suggests he has a good reputation and he’s taken to defy the penalty but there are plenty of possible dangers, headed by the Ralph Beckett pair Ledanis (second choice) and Man Of La Mancha, who have the potential to improve a good deal on the back of promising Kempton debuts. There are also some well-bred newcomers who need checking out in the betting.
18:30 Bossy Parker
Off an attractive mark returned to his ideal distance, BOSSY PARKER gets the vote. King Of York (second choice) warrants respect in the retained blinkers, while closely matched rivals Match Anthem and Evoluir are solid contenders on recent form.
19:00 Ignac Lamar
Lion’s Dream’s chance is better assessed on a close fourth to IGNAC LAMAR last month than on a subsequent defeat and he can be dangerous. The selection only scraped home that day but he’s not one to overdo it in front and this course has been a happy hunting ground for him. My Boy Jack is another with a good record here while Irish challenger Golden Goose is bred to be better than he’s shown so far and might improve for the switch to AW.

19:30 Vixey
Dash Power has a win and four seconds in his last five runs and he’s strongly respected on this drop back in trip. Galileo Glass looks interesting on his front-running second at Wolverhampton on his penultimate run, while Fircombe Hall also enters the reckoning on his step back up to 7f. However, the vote goes to VIXEY, who finished well to go close off a reduced mark over C&D two weeks ago and is a big player if she can back that up.
20:00 Nad Alshiba Rain
This looks a warm race for the grade with several runners of interest. NAD ALSHIBA RAIN was an eyecatcher on her stable debut 11 days ago and can build on that back in a handicap but Early Release (second choice) also shaped well last time and Rossa Ryan takes over in the saddle. Dangers abound, with Backspin, Horus and Lucius Aurelius all worthy of a second look.
20:30 Tantomile
The waters are muddied by the return of the long-absent Chester Le Streak, who is attractively handicapped if ready to roll after 543 days off. The betting should provide clues but as things stands the three to make most appeal are Ustath, Back Tomorrow (second choice) and TANTOMILE. Ustath shaped better over 7f last time but an easy lead wouldn’t seem likely and Back Tomorrow, who doesn’t help herself at the start but who has been in fine form this year, would be a beneficiary of a fast gallop.
So too would the selection though and the addition of a hood could help this free-going filly settle better. Still low mileage, she had a near miss for today’s rider on her penultimate start and was then caught wide at Wolverhampton 18 days ago.
