16:25 Dundalk – Temperance (Spotlight)
Judged on a solid second placing at Cork and a respectable sixth in the Birdcatcher Nursery, TEMPERANCE can win a maiden of this standard. Gran Habano is possibly more worthy of the 80 rating he shares with No Return who has changed stable and been gelded since his last run.
16:33 Newbury – Duhallow Tommy (Telegraph)
DUHALLOW TOMMY won at Plumpton (2m1f-2m4f, twice on soft) last January-March on his first three starts over fences; runner-up in three of five starts since, including his last two, and should be firmly in the argument.
16:45 Lingfield – Genoah (Daily Record)
With further improvement plausible, Irish raider GENOAH is taken to complete a hat-trick. Progressive filly Charlotte’s Web is second choice, ahead of last year’s winner Penzance. A few others also have possibilities.
