17:00 Southwell – Cinnodin
Cinnodin looked very much in need of that return effort on February 2 following a 118-day break. He has some very solid course and distance form to his name and looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to get his first victory of the season on the board. Finley Marsh is in the saddle as he has been for four of his five victories so far.
17:15 Newcastle – Without Compromise
We’re going to give Without Compromise a second roll of the dice after a very unlucky run at Wolverhampton last time. Admittedly, he is going up in grade but he has a light weight and we have switched riders to Hollie Doyle which is a positive. He still has the potential to improve.
17:30 Southwell – Therapist
Therapist outran her odds of 20/1 in the Winter Oaks at Lingfield with a fast-finishing fourth behind Charlotte’s Web. That form reads very well now dropping down a couple of grades into Class 4 company and the added bonus is the intermediate distance of 1m 3f looks absolutely perfect for her to gain an overdue success.
18:45 Newcastle – Tomorrow Day
Tomorrow Day has built a very solid profile at this venue and arguably was a little unlucky on Thursday over 6f as he was held up in a slowly-run contest. The quick turnaround will prove no problem and added to that the extra 220 yards is well within his compass.
19:15 Newcastle – Volenti
Volenti was a ready winner over a mile back in January and it never really happened for him when stepping up to 10f although it wasn’t a bad effort when finishing a close-up fourth. He will be held up and played late and there is no reason that he can’t win from just a 3lbs higher mark.
20:30 Southwell – Back Tomorrow
Back Tomorrow quickly went through the grades when notching up a hat-trick of successes all over 6f at Wolverhampton throughout the month of January. She has been competitive since off this mark despite not having much luck in running and starting slowly on occasions. She will be rattling home late in the day.
