FRISBY is an Irish point winner on heavy. Placed in an Ayr bumper and Catterick maiden (2m3f, good), form he will have to leave behind for him to trouble the best of these. Tongue-tie added.
16:40 Taunton – Two To Tango (The Guardian)
TWO TO TANGO is 0-8 over hurdles but he’s been running well and recent C&D second (good to soft) came against in-form rivals, notably the winner who has won since. Big run likely down in grade with Harry Cobden replacing conditionals.
17:00 Newcastle – Time Patrol (Sunday Express)
TIME PATROL is 2-2 under Molly Gunn and since cheekpieces were applied. Only had a short head to spare over C&D on Saturday and has a 5lb penalty to carry, but he still can’t be dismissed in this field in his current mood.
18:00 Newcastle – Beneficiary (Newsboy)
BENEFICIARY has been in fine form so far this year (1221) and he won in good style over 5f here 12 days ago. However, having gone up another 4lb for that he has a bit to find with Tomorrow Day on last month’s C&D running.
