17:35 Newcastle – Brewing
BREWING has a fantastic record on a synthetic surface and his record at this venue has an impressive three wins from four.
He does have to turn the form around with Society Man from last time, but that wasn’t expected, as the ex-French recruit went off at 33/1 and now will be sitting at the top of the market. The addition of a tongue tie is going to help the selection.
17:50 Wolverhampton – Kylian
KYLIAN has found his form again since being switched to the synthetic surface, with smooth victories at Newcastle and Linfield and a fair second-place finish in between.
He’s drawn in stall one in this race.
Luke Morris, who’s been on board for both of those recent successes, would’ve had the choice of a few in here but stays loyal.
18:35 Newcastle – Believe Me now
BELIEVE ME NOW looked pretty effective at this venue last time over the course and distance, having previously run well over 7f back in November.
The assessor only gave her a gentle nudge of 2lb, which sees her back in the exact same classified company, which is a bonus.
18:50 Wolverhampton – Back Tomorrow
BACK TOMORROW looks like he can gain another success and will have his sight firmly on one of the monthly £40,000 bonuses.
He was very dominant last time, only having to be pushed out hands and heels for a comfortable success. He looks well up to carrying the 10 stone.
19:05 Newcastle – Emily Post
EMILY POST returns to an attractive-looking mark of 67, having already proven herself over this course and distance.
Admittedly, she was slightly disappointing last time when she was drawn on the inside and was too keen early on.
She has a much better berth and could gain that all-important stand-side rail draw on this occasion.
20:20 Wolverhampton – Ciotog
CIOTOG was held up last time at a very sedate pace, with the winner able to make all.
However, when he was really gaining momentum inside the final furlong, he was continuously denied a clear crack at the leaders.
Hopefully, with a touch of luck, compensation awaits this evening.
