NO LOOKING BACK was a Grade 2-winning hurdler in 2022 has been set some stiff tasks, including four tries in Grade 1 company. Could be well treated on his Ballinrobe second to Beacon Edge in May. Fair effort behind Brighterdaysahead latest and has to be of interest.

I AM MAX on a bumper (soft) and novice hurdle (heavy) last February in his first two runs. Fell on chase debut in October but placed in handicap hurdles either side of that, second of 11 at Kelso (extended 2m6f, good to soft) last time. At an early stage of his career and has untapped potential.
14:15 Ascot – Scarface
SCARFACE is a second-season chaser whose turn looks near, beaten just under 2l by Kotmask at this venue (2m3f) last time. Gets a 3lb pull with that rival and is likely to be suited by this return to 2m5f. Could well go one better.
15:05 Haydock – Tiny Tetley
TINY TETLEY’s best results last term were on soft (unraced on heavy). Improving in this second season and pulled it out of the fire when winning under 7lb claimer at Taunton (3m, good to soft) 19 days ago. Up 4lb but today’s slog should suit and he’s from a stable in blinding form.
