15:15 Taunton – Sawpit Sienna (Steve Mullington)
SAWPIT SIENNA is 4-31 over hurdles but last two wins were in this race on soft ground in 2023 and 2024. Has a marginally lower mark today than on either of those occasions and latest start suggests she may well be coming back to form. No surprise if she pops up to win this for the third year in succession.
15:33 Newcastle – Alreet Cha (Jim Delahunt)
ALREET CHA scored over C&D in October. Best effort since when neck second to Red Maids last time. Gets a 7lb pull with that rival but isn’t sure to back up the form, having been inconsistent of late.
19:00 Kempton – Drumstick (Rob Wright)
DRUMSTICK is a seven-race maiden but he’s reached the frame over C&D and at Newcastle (1m) in the last two of his four handicaps. Seems tactically versatile and he’s in the mix on this return to Polytrack.
19:30 Kempton – Beccali (Newsboy)
BECCALI has improved with each of his three qualifying runs and he took another good step forward when justifying favouritism on handicap debut at Wolverhampton (7f) last month. Up 6lb for that small-field win but he finished well to score with authority and is open to more progress at this new trip. Big player.
