14:47 Mdawi
Yesterday’s Lingfield winner Jiff’s Army has the best form, but over much shorter trips, and preference is for the unexposed MDAWI who should relish the extra yardage today. Nobleman looked clueless on his debut three weeks ago but could take a big step forward.
15:22 Coconut Bay
Another furlong may have suited dual course winner Twistaline, but she seems to come alive at this time of year so is one for the shortlist. Alyara makes plenty of appeal after her successful stable debut here last month, but it may be worth taking a chance with COCONUT BAY for whom it is possible to make excuses for her recent efforts. Her best previous form would give her every chance at this level.
16:03 Monsieur Fantaisie
The vote goes to MONSIEUR FANTAISIE, who is the sole C&D winner in the field and has a good chance at the weights. Fact Or Fable, who ties in closely with the selection, is second choice. Wedgewood Sapphire interesting back this level, while Platinum Jubilee and Dandy Lichious also have possibilities on these terms.
16:35 Art Market
This may be dominated by William Haggas, with the returning ART MARKET, who boasts solid nursery form from last summer, preferred to Choreographic.
17:05 Glen Buck
A good race. Moon Over Miami, a fascinating handicap newcomer for a top stable, and Old Harrovian (second choice), who caught the eye in a hot race last time, would top the list in many handicaps but narrow preference is for GLEN BUCK.
Roger Varian’s 6yo shaped very well at Wolverhampton on his recent return from a long absence and is given a chance to build on that significant promise now he is stepping up to a strip which should suit. Gaassee is also worth a betting check on his first run for in-form Jack Morland.
17:35 Just Ten High
Although JUST TEN HIGH could have more company in front than when successfully dropped to 6f here last week he isn’t dependent on an easy lead and looks to have some potential as a sprinter. Bomb Squad and Laura’s Breeze are preferred in that order of the remainder although Raft Up could be all the better for his recent break and play a part.
18:05 Fircombe Hall
A market move for stable switcher Fantasy Navigator would be significant, but the most compelling profile belongs to FIRCOMBE HALL who arrives in form and has the added bonus of Kaiya Fraser’s 3lb claim. Second choice is Beneficiary with the well-handicapped Sir Maxi also impossible to ignore.
18:35 Many A Star
An open contest can go to the well-handicapped MANY A STAR who has a C&D success to his name and shaped as if ready to strike when third at Chelmsford last month. He meets thriving rivals in the shape of Ormolulu (second choice) and Rebel Empire, while Papa Cocktail is one of several others with possibilities.
19:05 Grey Operations (NAP)
Likely to build on last month’s C&D effort, GREY OPERATIONS (NAP) holds a particularly strong chance off the same mark in a change of headgear (he shaped as if blinkers will provide a further boost).
Kaleidoscope Eyes (second choice) has solid-looking claims, while Andalseeyagraham warrants respect as he’s the sole winner in this field having got off the mark last Saturday. Plenty of the others are difficult to rule out at this level.
