Our snazzy NAPs Table is here to give you a steer on today’s best bets for the four meetings across the UK and Ireland.

Racing resumes in Ireland after a period of pause following the tragic passing of Michael O’Sullivan.

The Listed Grand National Trial Handicap Chase (14:25) tops the bill at Punchestown and Gordon Elliott, who is seeking a fourth-successive victory in the race, saddles five runners including last year’s runaway winner Where It All Began. There is also Grade 3 action on the card courtesy of the Quevega Mares Hurdle (15:25) as Jade De Grugy attempts to give significant amounts of weight to the four other runners.

Carlton racked up four wins in a row on the level after flopping on National Hunt debut last summer and is given another go in the sphere in the Class 4 Advertise Your Business At Huntingdon Maiden Hurdle (13:45) but the field also includes Nicky Henderson’s Timetoshine, who is rated 84 on the Flat. Elsewhere on the card, 2023 Sussex Champion Hurdle winner Teddy Blue drops in grade for the Class 4 2025 Season Tickets On Sale Now Novices’ Handicap Chase (16:15)) after a disappointing debut over fences earlier this month.

There is also Jumps action at Lingfield before Newcastle’s all-weather meeting in the evening rounds off proceedings.
