12:35 – Shannon Royale

An interesting beginners chase. High Class Hero brings the best hurdles form into the race and is preferred by Paul Townend ahead of Loughglynn, who may prefer softer ground. However, narrow preference is for SHANNON ROYALE.

He likes it here and his previous experience in this sphere might just give him the edge. Grand Soir could run well if he is fit after a 385-day absence.

13:05 – Folly Master

Rising seven, FOLLY MASTER should have plenty more to offer, and his recent comeback run at Navan augurs well here now upped to a more suitable trip.

Noble Talent looks the type to do well in handicaps and rates a big threat, while the lightly-weighted Marronstown goes well here and also runs well fresh, so he could prove each-way value.

13:35 – Sainte Lucie

A juvenile maiden which may not take too much winning and the Willie Mullins’ French recruit SAINTE LUCIE could well be up to the job, despite the below-par form shown by some of the yard’s runners at Leopardstown on Sunday.

Noel Meade’s pair Young Churchill and Billie Frechette have shown enough to suggest they should play a part, as has Gordon Elliott’s Chortal. Ephesus looks the most interesting of the hurdling debutants.

14:05 – Saint Sam

Several of these really want softer ground, including last year’s principals, Sir Gerhard and Thedevilscoachman, as well as the returning Ballyadam, so it could set this up nicely for SAINT SAM, who arrives on the back of a career-best over fences on good ground.

14:35 – The Nagger Reidy (NAP)

An interesting rematch between Farmers Lodge and In For The Night on recent Fairyhouse form, but the pair could find themselves up against a better-handicapped rival in THE NAGGER REIDY (nap), whose narrow Tipperary defeat was franked by the winner following up at Leopardstown last week.

Ballywilliam Boy and Away To Milan hold place claims, while Stormbreaker is a potential improver if settling better.

15:10 – Bishbashbosh

Not the strongest of races. Klassman brings some solid recent form into the race, but whether this drop in trip will suit is debatable. BISHBASHBOSH ran a nice race on her debut for Ross O’Sullivan at Naas at this distance (when 4.5l ahead of Shing Shilla,) and she gets the nod off a 1lb higher mark.

Destiville has place claims and Restless Son is one to consider at a bigger price.

15:45 – The Queen Of Zim

This could go to one of the newcomers. Willie Mullins’ runners always have to be respected in these races, and it would be no surprise if Bambino Fever did well.

Gordon Elliott runs Kisuton Enki and THE QUEEN OF ZIM, and narrow preference is for the latter, though the market will reveal plenty regarding their chances. Of those with previous racecourse experience, Derryville makes most appeal, and Jolie Folie could run on late for a place at bigger odds.
