Can Crambo get an early Crimbo prezzie?

The Long Walk Hurdle has been dominated by horses towards the top of Paddy Power’s betting in recent years.

Crambo became the eighth winner in the last 10 renewals of Ascot’s festive feature that could be found in the top three in the market.

The defending champion is back for more but it is Strong Leader, who landed a maiden Grade 1 in last term’s Liverpool Hurdle, that heads our odds.

Long Walk Hurdle odds can be found on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise key historical trends from the last 10 renewals and a tip based off the big-race stats are below.

Long Walk Hurdle 2024 trends

Long Walk Hurdle 2024 trends verdict

The recent history of the Long Walk Hurdle suggests there is not a hard-and-fast profile of a typical winner, but STRONG LEADER emerges as the trends pick and is backed to make it two from two for the campaign.
