This looks open. Slight preference is for ROYAL CAVE, who held a narrow lead when falling at the last at Fairyhouse. Last month’s Punchestown second Billy Lee Swagger rates a danger along with The Story So Far, who makes his handicap debut. Others to consider are stablemates Crossing The Bar and Robyndeglory.

14:42 Carlisle – Gipsy Lee Rose (Liverpool Echo)

The 10yo mare GIPSY LEE ROSE made it three wins from her last six starts when making all over C&D a fortnight ago and can follow up. Croagh Patrick was second that day and may again be the main danger, with Rock Of Star next on the list on his second run for Rebecca Menzies.

Runner-up on return at Down Royal to a rival who has franked the form since POTTERS PARTY can go one better today. Shajak wasn’t far behind him then, but his jumping has remained an issue since falling. The other McManus runners, Verdant Place and Invictus Machin are of interest.
