An interesting race in which WHITE RHINO (nap) is taken to make it two wins over fences, although he faces two promising chase debutants, in President Scottie and Beneficially Yours.

13:20 Lingfield – Elladonna (The Scotsman)

Solid-looking ELLADONNA is taken to build on her C&D effort and score off the same mark. Charlotte’s Web, assuming the switch to this surface proves no problem, is feared most ahead of Typical Woman who has possibilities in reapplied cheekpieces. Lokana has a good chance, provided she stays the distance, while a couple of the others are interesting returning to Polytrack.

13:40 Haydock- Carrig Kate (The Times)

Preference is for heavy-ground point winner CARRIG KATE, who was only just caught over 2m 7f at Bangor three weeks ago, as a mistake at the last proved costly. Jo Coko was bought for £105,000, after his Irish point win in February, and is feared most ahead of another interesting point recruit in Star Of Diamonds. Grande Geste ran a big race at a massive price at Carlisle, and has claims, if he can build on that, while others to consider are Ski Lodge and Martin Plage.

15:25 Lingfield – Overnight Oats (NAP – Sheffield Star)

This can go to the resurgent hat-trick seeker OVERNIGHT OATS (nap), who finished well when scoring from a wide draw at Wolverhampton last time and remains very well treated on his old form. Most of the others have plenty to prove, but River Wharfe was a creditable second at Brighton last time, and looks the main danger.
