Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what an NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

11:57 Lingfield – Natsumi (NAP – Inside Traxs)

Risk drops markedly in trip, but he’s offered hope of better, and remains an unknown quantity. That said, this looks good for NATSUMI (nap), who won with a degree of authority at Chelmsford last month and can confirm the placings with Startling despite revised terms.

13:05 Clonmel – Sandor Clegane (Racing TV)

This is a puzzling little race. Franciscan Rock and Plains Indian boast recent winning hurdles form. However, neither horse has an overall profile to match two former smart novice hurdlers who spent last season over fences. SANDOR CLEGANE is slightly preferred to Three Card Brag. The pair are rivals at this stage, but Paul Nolan’s runner came out best when they met in the 2023 Albert Bartlett.

13:57 Lingfield- Bravo Zulu (Racing Post)

Newsreader was well on top at the finish at Kempton four weeks ago and he shouldn’t be opposed lightly despite a 3lb rise. Hat Toss comes here on the back of a Chelmsford win that has been franked, and he’s another for serious consideration, but it might be worth taking the chance that blinkers and a change of scenery spark a revival from BRAVO ZULU. His handicap career has been something of a damp squib, given the promise he displayed in maiden and novice company, but he’s down in the weights and could fulfil that early potential.

15:24 Newcastle – Fireblade (Yorkshire Post)

While Steel Tiger and Lasting Love (second choice) have been placed as they are not progressing, so the Gosden-trained FIREBLADE appears to have an ideal opportunity to get off the mark.
