Cahirdown Boy will appreciate going back up in trip, Room To Roam could be a formidable opponent from the front, while Likable Chancer has a solid chance if he bounces back from his run at Galway last time. The vote goes to BRAVE ADAM, who improved up to a similar trip at Killarney last month and was bang there at Fairyhouse last time before a bad mistake.
14:00 Taunton – Herakles Westwood (The Sun)
None of the seven can be dismissed. Montregard (second choice) is preferred to Moodofthemoment of the two previous chase winners, but HERAKLES WESTWOOD had a solid last season over hurdles and could be set for another one in this discipline.
14:10 Musselburgh – Restandbethankful (The Times)
Heart Above has thrived this autumn and could still be well treated judged on his second of 15 in a warm race at Kelso last time. However, RESTANDBETHANKFUL has been in fine form over fences the last twice and can capitalise on a lower hurdle mark. The in-form Irish raider She’s On Line is another to consider.
14:45 Musselburgh – Wild Side Of Life (Daily Express)
Leicestershire trainer Laura Morgan has an impressive 29% strike-rate at Musselburgh, and her sole runner here today is WILD SIDE OF LIFE, a point winner who is open to improvement on his first chase start. The 5yo Kandor may be the chief threat with this right-handed track expected to suit, while Cartonne and Cardamon Hill could also run well.
