12:05 Mistergif

Willie Mullins has won the last five runnings of this beginners’ chase, and MISTERGIF can make it six. Fifth in last season’s Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, he has always looked like one who will improve over fences. Second behind Il Etait Temps in this race last year, Ho My Lord rates as the biggest danger, while Western Diego and Boldog are also respected.

12:40 Nick Rockett

Appreciate It will win this contest if he can repeat his reappearance effort from last season but he’s on a lengthy losing run. With that in mind, the value could be with NICK ROCKETT, who has the gears for this shorter trip and was an excellent third in the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown when last seen. Fil Dor wasn’t given a hard time on his return in the Clonmel Oil and should improve, while Embassy Gardens goes well fresh but has a bit to prove.

11/4
Nick Rockett Win or Each Way

13:15 Brave Adam

Cahirdown Boy will appreciate going back up in trip, Room To Roam could be a formidable opponent from the front, while Likable Chancer has a solid chance if he bounces back from his run at Galway last time. The vote goes to BRAVE ADAM, who improved up to a similar trip at Killarney last month and was bang there at Fairyhouse last time before a bad mistake.

5/1
Brave Adam Win or Each Way

13:50 Cyrus Field

Champion Bumper fifth Fishery Lane sets a clear standard and is the choice of Paul Townend. Willie Mullins’ other runner Foreverwalking is the clear danger, but a chance is taken on CYRUS FIELD. Trained by Cian Collins, the four-year-old finished fifth of 17 behind a classy horse on his debut and is entitled to come on for the run. It’s difficult to fancy any of the others but Committee Meeting should be best of the rest.

11/2
Cyrus Field Win or Each Way

14:25 Karamoja

The fact that Paul Townend elects to ride French import KARAMOJA here ahead of Listed bumper winner Baby Kate makes her the choice. Wexford bumper winner Glens Lullaby and bumper placed Lau And Shaz both come into it.

1/3
Karamoja Win or Each Way

15:00 Karafon

A maiden hurdle that won’t take much winning. KARAFON has the standout piece of form in the book and will be very hard to beat if he’s ready to roll after an absence. His biggest threat is likely to be Paul Collins, and Party Dress can follow the pair home.

1/6
Karafon Win or Each Way

15:35 Dream Escape (NAP)

A fair bit of dead wood here, and it would seem a very good opportunity for Prince Quattro to follow up his win at Limerick last week. However, it might pay to oppose him with DREAM ESCAPE (NAP) after good runs at Gowran and especially at Cheltenham.

4/1
Dream Escape Win or Each Way
