13:43 – One Horse Town
The 83-rated No Return has decent form but may be vulnerable at this stage. Two once-raced runners may dominate, and a slight preference is for C&D third ONE HORSE TOWN, one of three runners for his stable, over Navan fourth Wait For It.
14:18 – Nikki Swango
Rated significantly higher at the start of the season, NIKKI SWANGO shaped well here on her second start for this stable and may go one better despite a 4lb rise.
Recent course winners Skontonovski and Shoot To Kill are up 4lb and 8lb, respectively, for recent course wins and could feature again. Mehman and Little Empire also have useful recent course form.
14:53 – Knockmore Prince
Not many come into this race in form, but after a good run here last week with no luck in running, perhaps KNOCKMORE PRINCE can land this back up to 1m. The Bog Bank can go well back to her last winning mark, while Pillar Of Hope is another that can go well after dropping in the handicap.
15:25 – What A Squeeze
The better of the two divisions. Tribal Moon has solid claims after winning here last time, although he might struggle to confirm his form with Morning Approach.
Miss Abby Jools ran a cracker on her stable debut over C&D last week and should go well again. A tentative vote goes to WHAT A SQUEEZE, who has dropped well down the handicap but ran encouragingly over 7f here last month.
15:55 – Inishmot Prince
A competitive heat. There should not be much to choose between Daamberdiplomat and Harry’s Bar from their meeting here last time, while Dontspoilasale should go well, but he has a 10lb penalty to cope with.
Slight preference is for INISHMOT PRINCE, who broke his turf duck at Navan in September and should be effective once more back on his favourite surface.
16:25 – Say It So (NAP)
A poor handicap. Duke Otto has been running well over hurdles and should be competitive off this mark. Similar comments can be made about Jinxs Link. Bright Start will go well on his latest start here. The one to beat should be top-weight SAY IT SO (nap), up 10lb for a decisive win at Navan and will be hard to stop in this company.
16:55 – Inthesmallhours
On form, Tribal Star sets the standard, and Dahab would not be far behind. However, an improvement from her debut run here can be expected from INTHESMALLHOURS, and she can reverse form with the aforementioned two. Bowmore will be interesting to watch for future reference.
17:25 – Tudor Manor
An additional 6lb may not prevent TUDOR MANOR from adding to the C&D win achieved under this rider 12 days ago. Enough Already, who has a fixed 7lb penalty for last Friday’s victory, rates a big danger. Glyde Ranger and Rockview Consort can also feature.
