14:00 Lingfield – Whoop Whoop (Telegraph)
Old rivals Nammos and Miss Sunset Strip come into this in good heart, while there may be a bigger effort in Thundering Breeze granted a bit more luck at the start. The vote, however, goes to WHOOP WHOOP whose record over C&D reads 311. She holds strong claims on her return from a short break. Resonance looks best of the others.
15:00 Warwick – Lady Jago (Daily Mail)
One with significant potential is Irish point winner LADY JAGO, who switches to fences after three promising hurdle runs this autumn. Cluain Aodha, Regal Renaissance, and So Said I all have good claims, but the dark horse is Lady Pretender, who did not show a great deal on her two British hurdling starts last season but is of interest if judged on her French chasing form.
16:30 Southwell – Nidaami (Spotlight)
The two horses to have beaten Montbeliarde (second choice) in AW nurseries are now BHA-rated 19lb and 20lb higher than they were when seeing him off and a 5lb rise may not prove beyond George Boughey’s juvenile. Anthropologist and Fernando come here on the back of a nursery win but it might be worth chancing NIDAAMI now upped in trip and handicapping. Stamina should be his forte judged on breeding, and the trainer/jockey combination have been productive to follow.
17:10 Wolverhampton – Rock Diva (Daily Record)
Being a filly who has a solid piece of course form and should improve for this new trip, ROCK DIVA is preferred. Patagonia Girl, whose latest effort was franked here last week, is second choice. The distance isn’t guaranteed to suit Wild Angel and Kate O’Riley but they have possibilities on the figures, particularly the former. Crepe Suzette and newcomer Orionis are interesting types among the remainder.
