16:10 – Elouise’s Prince
Being drawn wider isn’t ideal, but ELOUISE’S PRINCE is an appealing sort who scored over C&D last month and could improve further. Rock Hunter (second choice) and One For Harvey are more exposed, but they warrant respect on form, while Solvency and Sarafina Mshairi also have possibilities.
16:40 – Falakeyah
Ghaiyya sets a standard that isn’t daunting but is open to further progress and looks a must for the shortlist. The attractively bred fillies FALAKEYAH, Empire Power and Cape Flora are particularly interesting types among the debutantes and are preferred in that order. The market signals should complete the picture.
17:10 – Rock Diva
ROCK DIVA is preferred as a filly with a solid course form and should improve for this new trip. Patagonia Girl, whose latest effort was franked here last week, is second choice.
The distance isn’t guaranteed to suit Wild Angel and Kate O’Riley but they have possibilities on the figures, particularly the former. Crepe Suzette and newcomer Orionis are interesting types among the remainder.
17:40 – Amaysmont
This should be run at an honest pace, which will suit both AMAYSMONT and Global Warning, who both arrive in solid form. The selection is better drawn. Rusheen Boy is interesting, with him unexposed at 7f.
18:10 – Angel Of Antrim
Ravenglass (second choice) has turned a corner in the blinkers, Stella Hogan needs a second look after changing yards, and Port Noir is another with claims. ANGEL OF ANTRIM might be the answer, though, as on another day, he would have been a lot closer last time at Newcastle.
18:40 – Kitty Furnival (NAP)
With further improvement plausible, KITTY FURNIVAL (nap) is taken to complete a hat-trick. In-form Haku, who has a cracking record over C&D, is feared most. Way Of Life ties in closely with those two rivals, while Lordsbridge Blu is another runner with respectable recent course form.
19:10 – So Grateful
Street Life (second choice) should go well back down in class, while Basholo and Wakai Umi also have something to recommend them. SO GRATEFUL looks well-treated back on AW, though, and he can prove too strong for his rivals at this level.
19:45 – Cryptos Dream
Strategic Fortune is well suited to these conditions and has become favourably treated, so he has to be considered. The unexposed Zousca seems to be getting it together and has possibilities if she stays, while returning to 0-55 may result in a better performance from Lhebayeb.
However, it may be worth chancing CRYPTOS DREAM, who has dropped to an appealing mark, including on the form she was showing over this C&D last winter.
20:15 – Alex The Great
The Resdev Way and Virtual Hug are closely matched on their running over C&D 17 days ago, where they finished first and fourth, respectively, and both should go well again.
However, it’s hard to get away from ALEX THE GREAT who is 4lb well in following his success in a Southwell apprentice event nine days ago. He ran well in one previous go over this C&D.
