12:00 – Keppel Queen (NAP)

The winner was a sharp improver when KEPPEL QUEEN (nap) ran her best race yet on handicap debut at Chepstow, and she can go one better. Adveram is a recent winner with an upside on this return to 3m, and he’s feared most ahead of Perculator.

12:30 – Motion In Limine

There are plenty with chances in this novice handicap chase. The vote goes to MOTION IN LIMINE, who was runner-up on his last two starts and returns to action having had wind surgery. Boomslang, Dream Boy, and Lady In The Park are three other contenders.

13:03 – Ira Hayes

Dazzlelikethis is an interesting hurdle newcomer who is one to take note of if the market speaks in her favour. But, IRA HAYES left a good impression when winning a Wexford bumper, bringing a lot of potential on his hurdle debut. With little hurdle form on offer, bumper winner Monty Bodkin (second choice) and Orkney Blue are others worth considering.

13:33 – Kevin’s Pride

The suggestion is KEVIN’S PRIDE, who was an easy winner of a Kilbeggan bumper in August and looks a likely type for hurdles.

Given he missed a recent race on officially good to soft ground, there has to be a bit of concern regarding Dedicated Hero on this surface, but if lining up he would be hugely respected on his bumper form.

The most interesting of the remainder looks to be rules newcomer Aboutdamntime.

14:05 – Marown

The in-form Flic Ou Voyou is an obvious contender, but it could pay to take a chance on the well-handicapped MAROWN winning his first race since 2021 despite this short trip.

5/2
Marown Win or Each Way

14:40 – Koukeo

This doesn’t look the strongest of novice hurdles, and KOUKEO is taken to get off the mark on his jumps debut after his good second in a Chepstow bumper last month. Winning Irish pointer Epic West and Kelso fourth Bridge Court are two others to consider.

13/2
Koukeo Win or Each Way

15:15 – Walk On Quest

With respect to bumper and hurdle winner Geordies Dream, this looks like a good opportunity for WALK ON QUEST to make it 2-2 over fences. He can come on again from his Kelso win, and a 5lb rise looks within his compass. Tommy Combats and Fearless Action hold some each-way interest, while Titanium Bullet is not written off.

11/8
Walk On Quest Win or Each Way

15:49 – Coniston George

Last-time-out winner Blue Fin merits respect, but there has to be some doubt he can defy a 5lb rise. Disco Annie returns to the scene of her recent win. She is unexposed, and a repeat is not ruled out.

However, CONISTON GEORGE is in C&D winning form, acts on the slow ground and goes well when fresh. A revitalised War Soldier would be of interest, while Bringbackmemories deserves a market check.

15/8
Coniston George Win or Each Way
