11:50 – Sea Road Fill

Second at Cork on his penultimate start, SEA ROAD FILL gets the vote to score on his handicap debut with the help of Cian Quirke’s useful 5lb allowance. Ballybrack Wood adapted well to chasing at Tramore and could be progressive. Recent Clonmel winner Winding River and Cheltenham fifth Andy’s Flame can get in the mix.

12:20 – Spasiba

This is a good opportunity for 88-rated Flat performer SPASIBA to get off the mark on his second start over hurdles. The race sponsor’s pair Musta Lovea Lovea, third in a strong edition of this race last year, and Syracus De Houx have place possibilities.

Jersey Des Brosses failed to do justice to his reputation in two bumpers and is due to make his hurdling debut on Saturday at Gowran.

12:50 – Zariygann (NAP)

An ordinary sort on the Flat, ZARIYGANN (nap) has prospects of keeping his unbeaten hurdles record intact with his Listowel win boosted by a Grade 3 win for the runner-up. Pinot Gris, second in the Lartigue at Listowel, can give him a stern test.

13:25 – Masterboy Davis

Lieutenant Mayne, the winner of two bumpers in Britain, holds an obvious chance. However, he may not cope with MASTERBOY DAVIS, whose best Irish bumper run is more compelling. The long-absent point winner Hills Of Glory is of some interest.

14:00 – Missus Beeton

It is a small enough field but ultra-competitive, and a case can be made for all of them. Top-weight Happy Jacky should be a leading contender.

Last year’s runner-up, Gaoth Chuil, had a nice warm-up effort at the Curragh last month, while Win Some Lose Some is progressive and looks like the first choice of the McManus duo. Preference is for bottom-weight MISSUS BEETON, a progressive mare that went desperately close at Punchestown last month.

She is 9lb wrong, but Calum Hogan’s 7lb claim mostly negates that, and it might just be the difference.

14:35 – Marine Nationale

His novice campaign did not exactly go to plan, but top novice hurdler MARINE NATIONALE has the ideal opportunity here to get back on track. Hercule Du Seuil should go well despite having a task at the weights, as should Quilixios.

15:10 – Farren Glory

Ho My Lord is respected on his first run for Padraig Roche, but this looks like a decent opportunity for Grade 1-winning novice hurdler FARREN GLORY after a good first effort at Wexford against top novice Inthepocket.

15:45 – Lau And Shaz

To all intents and purposes, this looks like a match. Listowel runner-up Carrigmoornaspruce will likely come on for that, but her two runs at Punchestown makes LAU AND SHAZ the standard-setter here, and she can collect. Her stablemate, Murphy Place, can get into the money.
