Having won a deeper race at the Doncaster St Leger meeting, YABHER is clear on the figures and looks capable of defying a 7lb penalty. Irish challenger Minella Boss is open to progress and feared the most.
13:52 Redcar – Alfa Whiteburd (Scottish Sun)
The thriving ALFA WHITEBURD is taken to complete a hat-trick in this one. The in-form Harry’s Halo in new headgear is feared the most ahead of class-dropping mud-lover Cold Stare
14:27 Redcar – Project Dante (Racing Post)
Parisiac (second choice) can go well, dropped in class, but the C&D handicap won by PROJECT DANTE (nap) last month could prove to be the key form line. While the selection had prime track position, he did win with more to spare than the winning margin might indicate and a 2lb rise could prove lenient, all the more so in light of his former glory.
15:30 Haydock – Trilby (Spotlight)
In-form TRILBY (nap) has a good chance of gaining a third Haydock success and a first over 5f. Seantrabh, who ran very encouragingly last time, is feared most ahead of Our Absent Friends, who remains of interest with the cheekpieces retained.
