Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

13:50 Musselburgh – Dogged (The Guardian)

The drop back in trip isn’t an obvious positive for DOGGED, but he arrives on the back of a good performance and has the assistance of Becky Smith. He earns the vote ahead of last-time-out C&D winner True Nation, with Alazwar next on the list.

15:00 Hereford – Haas Boy (Spotlight)

A few of these are of interest, but the suggestion is HAAS BOY, who was a long way clear of the others when second to a subsequent Punchestown festival winner at Wincanton in February and makes his stable debut from the same mark.

Baskerville is open to improvement over this new trip and, with Oscar Palmer claiming 10lb, is a tempting alternative. The Height Of Fame ought to benefit from today’s return to good ground, while Magic Seven is now 10lb below the mark he was allocated after the second of his two-course wins last November.

16:15 Windsor – Zambezi Magic (Telegraph)

A lot of these have questions to answer on various counts but not the in-form ZAMBEZI MAGIC who remains on a workable mark. Stintino Sunset isn’t yet fully exposed over this far and she edges Drouthy Neebor for second preference.

3/1
Zambezi Magic Win or Each Way

16:40 Kempton – Miakoda (Daily Mail)

Layaali found improvement with her eye-catching third at Newcastle 13 days ago and is a big player if she can back that up. Gesundheit is bred to be much better than his opening mark and looks interesting with Oisin Murphy booked, while some other nursery newcomers need a close look, including Quick Point and Glad Eye.

However, preference is for MIAKODA, who went close in a Wolverhampton nursery on his penultimate run and looks open to more progress on this step back up in trip.

9/1
Miakoda Win or Each Way
