13:05 Miracle Beauty

Ballydoyle field a pair of debutante No Nay Never fillies, both expensive purchases, in Brightest Star and Smiling, but previous experience could prove key here with recent C&D second MIRACLE BEAUTY taken to confirm that form with fourth-placed Misappropriation.

13:40 Bounty

In what appears a weak maiden recent Curragh second BOUNTY should go one better here. Iceford looks best placed to follow the election home.

14:15 Dignam

Joseph O’Brien saddles the two highest-rated runners. Preference is for DIGNAM, dropped in class, and trip after a 1m1f Group 3 run in France. His stablemate, Sigh No More, might prefer more testing conditions. The maiden Rion Rubette also drops in class and could go close. Iowntheball and the once-raced Bodhi Bear have the potential for improvement.

14:50 Sakti (NAP)

Though yet to score on turf, SAKTI (NAP) is appealing on the strength of a Group 3 Curragh fourth, well advertised by the placed horses in dominating the Group 2 Blandford Stakes. Joseph O’Brien has five runners, headed by Goldana who may have needed a Gowran run last month and could now reverse form with Improvista and Azada on easier ground. The consistent Princess Child can also feature for O’Brien.

15:25 Romzina

Quite a few have claims in this Listed heat. Caught You Looking should win on ratings but she has questions to answer regarding the suitability of this trip.

Ameerat Jumaira is progressive and should go well, as should Belhaven but preference is for the unexposed ROMZINA. She had a few of these behind when runner up on her first try in this grade at Galway, despite racing keenly, and if the first-time hood helps her to settle better, there could be plenty more to come.

16:00 Jabbar

A competitive handicap. Joseph O’Brien won this last year, and Comfort Zone looks the most likely of his trio. Aidan O’Brien also runs three, and Chemistry may represent his best chance, but he is drawn very wide. Man O Work and Seddon can’t be discounted, but a chance is taken on the in-form JABBAR.

He shaped with promise off this mark on his last Flat start at Clonmel, and he confirmed his well-being with an impressive maiden hurdle win at Galway earlier this week. He has a nice draw, and he’s ground-versatile. Keithen Kennedy was on board for his last flat win at Killarney.

16:35 Nunc Est Bibendum

Several recent graduates of the pony racing circuit are involved here. Nicola Burns is a very accomplished young rider and may prevail on NUNC EST BIBENDUM who came from off the pace to take third in an amateur race at the Curragh last time and may turn the tables on runner-up Bear Profit. Red Trail has a realistic chance of reversing C&D form with Chicago Storm.

17:10 Lord Church

Quite an open look to this handicap. Top-weight Old Faithful has to be greatly respected back to probably his optimum trip and dropped in grade. Thor’s Hammer is another to be suited by the return to this trip, while Seti is interesting on his belated seasonal return for a yard going well. However, it could pay to side with LORD CHURCH, returning from a break with likely more improvement in him.
