13:45 Nottingham – Bama Lama (Yorkshire Post)

Judged on general consistency in 2024, BAMA LAMA and Cubanista look the most solid options, preferred in that order. Many A Year and Apache Star are likely players, if backing up their last-time performances, while testing ground puts Diamondsinthesand firmly in calculations.

14:15 Nottingham – Arctic Voyage (Daily Telegraph)

Being a Kingman, half-brother to a Group 1 winner, there should be good progress to come from ARCTIC VOYAGE whose Newbury effort suggests this drop in distance will suit. Double Rush, who holds solid claims on form, is second choice. Charmoula and Curzon are also in the mix, while a couple of the others are open to improvement.

15:21 Navan – Rosato (Racing Post)

An eye-catcher when running on behind Lismacbryan after a troubled passage at the Curragh four days ago, ROSATO can make amends on 7lb better terms with that rival. Art Of Unity got back on the scoresheet at Bellewstown last week, but this is tougher with a 7lb penalty. Course winners Shoebox King and Stanhope can run well after absences.

17:15 Kempton – Detain (Racing Post)

Ar Rayyan is an interesting newcomer from a yard that won both divisions of this 12 months ago, and The Hare Rail is unlikely to remain a maiden for long. However, DETAIN looked a colt with serious potential on debut here in August and he’s in the Group 1 at Doncaster later this month.
