Being a progressive filly who has solid form and scored over C&D most recently, DARK ROSA (nap) holds particularly strong claims. Top Juggler (second choice) and Sir Palamedes are other last-time winners, who look open to improvement, and Stirrup Cup has possibilities in the retained blinkers.
14:42 Stratford – Copshill Lad (Spotlight)
Eurkash bumped into a big improver when running a game race in defeat over fences last month, and ought to come good for for James Owen soon but, in view of Harry Derham’s prowess with new recruits, the most interesting runner is arguably COPSHILL LAD. He makes his stable debut from a workable mark, and with new headgear fitted, Razzo Italiano won his last two and is next on the list.
15:02 Pontefract – Sea The Dream (Scottish Sun)
Although the form over his C&D success is weak, Retracement may be capable of progress back in this scenario. Hat-trick seeker Epidavros (second choice) warrants respect but the suggestion is SEA THE DREAM, who holds a solid chance back on turf. A few others also have possibilities.
15:52 Stratford – Ballycamus (Racing Post)
Two of these were last-time-out winners, but Post Chaise may not be ideally suited by this drop back in trip, and The Boola Boss may need the ground to dry out. Dan Skelton’s unexposed 6yo Mumford’s Magic (second choice) looks interesting on his chasing debut, but perhaps this is best left to BALLYCAMUS, who did well during his first season over fences.
