Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

15:57 Ascot – Allonsy (Daily Express)

German St Leger third Go Daddy holds leading form claims, while Melrose Handicap winner Tabletalk (second choice) is another strong contender, but this could go to the highly progressive filly ALLONSY. She has won handicaps on her last four starts and her pedigree provides optimism she’ll be up to today’s tougher assignment. Pappano is another who could be capable of better.

16:05 Hexham – Steps Match (Telegraph)

After winning both his chases, the latest last week, Instant Gambler is the one to beat, but it could pay to take him on with STEPS MATCH, who has already been placed in a couple of chases and proved his current well-being when winning over hurdles at Perth last time.

16:20 Fontwell – Midnight Jewel (The Times)

This is quite a tricky puzzle to solve, but the safest option is probably match-fit 8-year-old MIDNIGHT JEWEL, who held on well to make all over C&D last month. The other three all have possibilities, but Lord Of Cheshire (second choice) is untested over fences, Duhallow Tommy ended last season on a low note, and Jupiter Du Gite is seemingly a law unto himself.

17:45 Dundalk – Harrys Bar (The Irish Sun)

Jack Davison holds the aces. Betsen has youth on his side. However, the experience of 15-time AW winner HARRYS BAR may prove crucial and he is tipped to repeat his 2021 and 2023 triumphs in this race. Valiant Force was smart at two but has deteriorated alarmingly since his return from a spell in America and could not be recommended despite his status as the highest-rated runner.
