Recent C&D scorer STARTLING is open to further improvement at this level and gets the vote ahead of Dubai Magic, who looks a particularly interesting type among the handicap newcomers. Pure Liberty is more exposed, but she ties in with the selection. Several others also have possibilities.

Triple silver medallist ALL WAYS GLAMOROUS has a leading chance on the figures and is taken to go one better. Glowchester has clear possibilities provided her improvement is sustained, while Maid In Chelsea (absent since June) is interesting dropped to a lesser level.
17:25 Shamardia
Scott Dixon is well represented, supplying 40% of the runners, with Lochaber and Banana probably the pick from that particular stable. However, Ismail Mohammed has placed the improving SHAMARDIA well in recent weeks, and this appears to be another suitable opportunity.
18:00 Winterfair
An open contest, but the lightly raced WINTERFAIR may have more scope for improvement back on AW. War Chant looked an improver when successful here on Friday and is second choice. The two Crisford-trained 3yos Cavalry Call and Zipster are also feared, while Local Bay has had a fine time on turf this year, and any further improvement back on AW can also see him run well.
18:30 Kristal Klear (NAP)
The choice is KRISTAL KLEAR (NAP), who won at Southwell last month and has since finished runner-up in a strong fillies’ handicap at Haydock. The ex-Irish Galel and the in-form Top Button complete the shortlist.
19:00 Amaysmont
This can go to AMAYSMONT who won twice at Chelmsford earlier in the season and shaped with plenty of promise after a break when fourth at Southwell last time. Lady Wingalong and American Rose are two others to consider.
19:30 Aces Wild
Predominantly solid record over C&D (all this year) includes three wins, the most recent in July, and good efforts the last twice (close second latest); ACES WILD is creeping up the weights, but respected kept to this scenario.
20:00 Pysanka
Arenas Del Tiempo could play a part if building on her promising Lingfield return and handling Tapeta, while the unexposed Beat The Clock and Kempton winner Dubawi Time also make the shortlist. However, four-time C&D winner PYSANKA looks the safest option with a 3lb rise for his latest success looking far from excessive.
20:30 Inspiring Speeches
Provided the widest draw proves no hindrance, INSPIRING SPEECHES appears capable of opening his account. Harbour Vision, who ran well behind a 3yo here last week, is second choice ahead of High Court Judge and Nancy Rose.
