16:25 – Hailey Ya Mal

Hat-trick seeker Bluebells Boy is enormously respected, while Due Date has won four times on AW this year and still looks feasibly treated on his brave success at Southwell last month. Eldeyaar put in a dominant display here on his penultimate run and looks interesting back at this track, but preference is for his stablemate HAILEY YA MAL. His record stands at 0-10, but he ran his best race so far when runner-up over C&D last time and is a big player if he can back that up.

9/1
Hailey Ya Mal Win or Each Way

17:00 – Good Banter

Target Man ran well over C&D two weeks ago, but that looked a tricky race to assess and it could be that Peter The Wolf and GOOD BANTER progress past him. The selection went desperately close behind a well-touted newcomer at Salisbury on debut and an SP of 25-1 would suggest that was a pleasant surprise. He can do better.

4/9
Good Banter Win or Each Way

17:30 – One Road

Few of these have remotely shown their hand and this could be a tasty nursery for the grade. Georginio, Yehudi, Dandy G Boy and Mystified have all threatened better, but two with the potential to be much better than their mark are Zoulu Warrior and ONE ROAD. Both caught the eye last time and the latter, who looks sure to appreciate the return to 7f, has the better draw.

9/2
One Road Win or Each Way

18:00 – Forever A Diamond

Pinball Wizard and American Star are contenders, but Surprise Picture and FOREVER A DIAMOND may be the pair to focus on. The selection ran well in new blinkers at Kempton last week and is marginally preferred.

11/2
Forever A Diamond Win or Each Way

18:30 – Zeno

This looks a bit trappy, but the vote goes to ZENO, who travelled smoothly for a long time before knuckling down well for a last-gasp success over Battle Point at Lingfield 19 days ago. He’s only 2lb higher than for that breakthrough win and should get a good tow into this race. Marcus, who has finished runner-up in his last two starts, is feared most ahead of Banana, who was only just caught over 6f at Newcastle last time.

13/2
Zeno Win or Each Way

19:00 – Northstead Gardens

The last-time-out winners Quickfire and Blacklion are respected, while Danehill Star could make a bold bid back in trip and Keen Interest has claims if this sets up for his closing style. Harlington and Brinton also enter the reckoning but preference is for NORTHSTEAD GARDENS, who chased home a well-handicapped rival here 16 days ago and still has potential after only seven starts.

11/1
Northstead Gardens Win or Each Way

19:30 – Bailey’s Warrior

Preference is for the generally reliable BAILEYS WARRIOR, who won over 2m at Lingfield in February and travelled smoothly for a long way when runner-up over 1m6f here on her penultimate run. C&D winner Breccia could pose the main threat on her return to the Flat, although Humaniste has reached the frame in his last four starts and should go well again. Others to consider are Ex-Irish Bigz Belief and the lightly raced 3yo Mimasusa.

4/1
Baileys Warrior Win or Each Way

20:00 – Waleyfa (NAP)

Top of the list is WALEYFA (nap), who made it 2-3 for her current yard when scoring at Brighton last Tuesday and remains well-treated on her old form. Shaka has been running well since July and he’s feared most ahead of recent Southwell runner-up Lady Ava. Triple AW winner Prince Ali is on a dangerous mark back in this sphere, while another to watch is the unexposed handicap newcomer Ya Rayah.

9/10
Waleyfa Win or Each Way

20:30 – King Of Speed

Newfangled comes here on the up and may well go in again but he’s up in the weights and down in trip so this will demand something new. Cuban Harry won comfortably over C&D last time and will be a danger to all if able to back that up, while Cariad (second choice) also looks booked for a big run. KING OF SPEED needs to bounce back to his best but he’s on a fair mark, will appreciate the return to AW, should be sharper for last month’s return from a break and is reunited with Billy Loughnane this evening.

7/1
King Of Speed Win or Each Way
