Judged on current form and other factors, KYBER CRYSTAL looks more solid than most of her rivals. Cuban Rock, an interesting contender back at Hamilton, is second choice ahead of Royal Duke who looks well treated if his latest effort is taken at face value.
15:50 Plumpton – Junkanoo (Daily Express)
King’s Castle and Enthused (second choice) are closely matched on last month’s Perth form, while Aucunrisque will be very dangerous off his current mark if back on song after his break and Carrigeen Kampala could still have more to offer. However, JUNKANOO, a C&D novice winner last season, gets the vote in this hope his recent Flat run has brought him on.
16:30 Listowel – Magic Tricks (Spotlight)
Competitive race and plenty of these have chances. Presenting Lad is seeking a four-timer and would be high on that list. Others include The Banger Doyle back over fences, the sound jumping Je T’Ai Porte, and Tipperary specialist Good As Hell. The one to be on though is MAGIC TRICKS off a mark 11lb lower than over hurdles in first-time blinkers. He will be hard to beat.
16:42 Hamilton – Inanna (Telegraph)
The ground-dependent Impressor would need good to soft going or preferably softer. He’ll have a big shout if he gets it but the vote goes to INANNA, who has been climbing the ladder again recently for her new yard. Hopes for Hierarchy were relit by his latest start, while Ramon Di Loria has been pretty solid in recent months.
