Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

13:50 Sandown – Harb (Racing Post)

Soul Seeker will be suited by the dry conditions and he’s of interest on this season’s best but this looks good for HARB (nap) to repeat his win in the race 12 months ago. He fairly bolted up on that occasion and lines up today off a 3lb lower mark. That looks all the more enticing given his C&D win last month has already been well franked.

14:10 Beverley – American Style (Sporting Times)

The safest approach is to focus on form in the book, which means a straight choice between AMERICAN STYLE and Invincible Crown. Kevin Ryan’s charge gets the narrow vote, after not having the chance to prove himself fully – he was out of his depth at York – since a gelding operation.

16:05 Yarmouth – Roi De France (Racing Post)

There’s no question that more is needed from him but ROI DE FRANCE may possess the potential required. James Webb, the other 3yo handicap debutant from a leading stable, may not be such a striking case, but Lunario should present a major challenge to those younger rivals if the switch to a visor does not have a negative effect. Majestic is respected and Saeed bin Suroor’s two runners need a close look.

17:28 Beverley – Twin Earth (Scottish Sun)

At 0-9 and he could do with settling better, but he’s lightly raced in handicaps and TWIN EARTH was a good fourth of 15 off this mark at Goodwood (1m 2f, good) a fortnight ago; wears first-time cheekpieces; on the shortlist.
