Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:10 Redcar – Rift Valley (The Guardian)

The shortlist is headed by RIFT VALLEY who looks interesting dropped to 5f. Do It Now holds major claims back down in class, while a few others bring fair form and help to make this quite a competitive novice contest. The betting should be informative with regard to newcomer Aubergine.

15:55 Punchestown – Ard Na Mara (The Irish Sun)

The 82-rated Strolling sets the standard here, but she isn’t straightforward, and this drop in trip raises question marks. Vadali looks worth trying at this distance after his run at Galway, and he has claims, too, as does Yes Oui Si, down in trip.

However, the Gowran Park maiden contested by Powerful Hook Head, Coul Dreamer, and ARD NA MARA could be the key piece of form, and preference is for Jim Bolger’s filly after her excellent effort at the Curragh last time was boosted by the winner at Leopardstown on Saturday.

17:05 Yarmouth – Thunder Star (Daily Express)

Stone Circle is well handicapped off the same mark as for last Tuesday’s clear second at Leicester, so goes on the shortlist as he looks to make it 4-9 over C&D. Grace Angel is also considered, but THUNDER STAR, who was drawn wide back from a break when behind her at Haydock last time, is fancied to turn things round and follow up last year’s win in this race.

19:00 Newcastle – Harry Palmer (Daily Mirror)

Three of the last five runnings of this have gone to a 2yo making their nursery debut, and there are some interesting types with that profile here. It would be no surprise if Wiesaam (second choice) left his previous form behind with the stable having such a good strike rate here, but HARRY PALMER looks interesting with his dam a sister to the smart Commander Cole, who showed useful form on the AW, including on Tapeta.
