15:15 – French Martini
Having taken significant steps in the right direction under David Dunsdon the last twice, FRENCH MARTINI appears set to get off the mark. Angelica K, an interesting runner with Serena Brotherton on board, is the second choice ahead of C&D winner Gearing’s Point and in-form Sea Of Charm.
15:55 – Triple Nickle
Calshot Spit, in excellent form for his new yard, and Hawk Jet, who appeared well suited by the step up to 1m6f at Salisbury, both make some appeal but those stout stayers TRIPLE NICKLE and Humaniste, first and third at Ffos Las last time out, should be suited by the demands of this race and are preferred. Robeam is also worth a mention.
16:30 – Miss Show Down
Nursery newcomer MISS SHOW DOWN has been very up and down so far but was a good second over C&D in June and earns the vote. Rogue Bullet is feared most because of his fourth at Yarmouth in a maiden that worked out well. Solar Edge made a winning nursery debut at Chepstow, while Ellomate is another player if he transfers his good recent AW form back to the turf.
17:05 – Glamorous Breeze (NAP)
Level Up comes here in good form and ought to be involved, while the unexposed Caribbean Wind still has time to do better and Danger Alert returned to form at Sandown on Friday. GLAMOROUS BREEZE (nap) has been in and out this season but she’s down in the weights and, with a drying forecast in her favour, could find that this sets up nicely for her.
17:35 – Belgravian
Not a strong maiden, highlighted by the fact that Many Men sets the standard on his second in a seller. It’s worth chancing the newcomers, with BELGRAVIAN preferred to Super Mirage and Girls Night Out.
18:05 – Great David
The Crisfords’ newcomer, The Green Mile, could be very interesting if the market likes him. But GREAT DAVID, a slight letdown at Beverley last time out, is given another chance to show he can improve on an encouraging start in an Epsom race that has worked out well. Tap Dancer is coming along nicely and should have no trouble with a stiff test at 1m. So she can be the main danger ahead of Saliko and Master Technician.
18:35 – King Of The Dance
Dappled Light, Daany and Hawajes are all in good form, while Albus Anne can feature if fully revved up after her three-month break. However, two well-handicapped alternatives to consider are KING OF THE DANCE, who gets away from heavy ground and has cheekpieces refitted, and Ravenglass, who is suited by this C&D and sports a new headgear combination. Bernard Llewellyn’s runner gets the vote.
19:05 – Sisters In The Sky
This can go to C&D winner SISTERS IN THE SKY, who is excused his recent defeat on heavy ground and has quickly dropped back to a workable mark. Malham Tarn Cove is also better than he showed on his latest appearance and is the second choice, while Diamond Cottage recently shaped as though her turn might be near again.
