This longer trip is no certainty for Lordsbridge Blu and he’ll want to settle better than at Chelmsford if he’s to have a chance of toppling the standard-setting PROPHET’S PATH in a novice that likely boils down to the pair.

Being a promising filly who should have more to offer at this distance, STAR OF MEHMAS may prove capable of defying a penalty for her eased-down win at Lingfield. Amestris is respected back down in class, while Irish raider Bobbi Rosa is interesting on these terms.
18:30 – Solar Biricz
Topweight SOLAR BIRICZ (nap) won in fine style at Musselburgh recently and is taken to defy a 10lb rise. Premium Pass has run pretty well in defeat in the last twice and is second choice ahead of Dawn Awakening, with whom she’s closely matched.
19:00 – Ramaah
If he is in the same form as at Chelmsford last week, then RAMAAH will probably follow up, as he doesn’t have a lot to beat. Kiss My Face and Alex The Great are his most likely threats.
19:30 – Angel Amadea
Wolverhampton brings out the best in ANGEL AMADEA and she is taken to exploit a dangerous mark now back here. Three-time C&D winner Arlecchino’s Gift is next on the list after a near-miss at Lingfield, while Liosa and Porfin could also be involved.
20:00 – Aces Wild
Things didn’t pan out ACES WILD’s way in a small field behind Phoenix Beach here last time, with his three previous C&D wins all coming under hold-up rides, and this could well be set up for him. Jojo Rabbit’s record over C&D alone (4-6) entitles him to respect, with Rainyniteingeorgia another to consider.
20:30 – Cuban Harry
La Sonnambula has more upside than most after showing more last time at Chelmsford but the preference is for CUBAN HARRY who finished further back that day. The selection saw too much daylight out wide and his previous run here was encouraging. Northstead Gardens showed more last time and is preferred to others.
