13:55 Ffos Las – Raimunda (The Guardian)
This can go to RAIMUNDA who has no questions to answer on heavy ground and this looks easier than at Sandown last time out. Hodler is preferred of the others.
14:25 Sandown – Glamorous Express (Daily Express)
A market move for Harb after a break would alter the complexion of the race as Peter Crate’s quirky but talented 5yo is now 6lb lower than when laughing at his rivals over C&D last September. Libra Tiger (second choice) can go well under these conditions, while Soliders Design is better than she showed on her stable debut, but a stiff 5f should suit GLAMOROUS EXPRESS and he is tentatively preferred.
16:13 Southwell – Kristal Klear (The Times)
Few of these are solid. Mambha has been running well enough on turf lately to put her right in the mix, while it would be no surprise to see a better effort from handicap debutante Angel Pass. However, it may be worth giving another chance to KRISTAL KLEAR who is well treated on her near miss at Newcastle in April and wasn’t beaten far in a better race than this back there last time.
18:10 Fontwell – Brook Bay (Spotlight)
My Gift To You ran right up to his best at Worcester last time and has to be considered, while Pilot Show will run well if avoiding the mistakes that have held him back the last twice. Another who could feature is BROOK BAY who ran a positive second race over fences and this longer trip is well worth exploring.
