14:40 Musselburgh – Inanna (Scottish Sun)
Jim Goldie’s new recruit INANNA (nap) shaped well in third at Ayr and is taken to build on that here to capitalise on a reduced mark. Showboated could emerge as the main danger, having not been seen to best effect at Newcastle last time, although C&D scorer Jamie’s Choice and in-form duo Henery Hawk and Northern Prince can all have a say too.
14:55 Ripon – Zayer (The Scotsman)
Another Abbot and Kullazain are respected newcomers and Reservardo (second choice) is a winner in waiting after being narrowly denied on his debut. However, ZAYER is pacy enough to excel back at 5f and his latest Haydock run looks better after the events of York last week, with the third Angel Hunter winning a competitive nursery and fourth-placed Bowen Island finishing fourth in a hot maiden.
15:40 Musselburgh – Braes Of Doune (Racing Post)
Recent scorers Rebecca’s Girl and Believe Me Now (second choice) must enter calculations along with last year’s victor Chinese Spirit and in-form pair Doomsday and Concert Boy. However, the vote goes to BRAES OF DOUNE who did well to score at Ayr last time out and can defy a 3lb weights rise.
16:22 Stratford – Nastasiya (Daily Star)
Emanate comes here after two good efforts at Worcester but he might not be quite so effective away from that track and the preference is for NASTASIYA, who ended up with too much to do before staying well for third on a stable debut in May. Fenney Brook and Gone In Sixty can also feature.
