With different tactics, Miss Lamai was a good winner at Naas and could represent the value here against a better fancied stablemate in Leovanni. She’s stepping up to 6f and she’ll be ridden just behind the pace before making a move. She’s my best bet of the day!
14:25 – Arizona Blaze
I have my doubts over Maw Lam so I’m going to take her on. Arizona Blaze has done very little wrong in defeat but carries a big weight of 9st 9lbs. A stall four draw will help so he should have a chance but he’s my weakest pick on the day.
15:00 – Aragon Castle (each-way)
I like the three-year-old Aragon Castle for the Andrew Balding yard. He won well at Hamilton in July and he drops back to a mile from 10f last time. He’s wearing a tongue-tie and a draw in stall 10 doesn’t worry me.
15:35 – Content
Content was third in the Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh and was unlucky in the Irish Oaks last time out when finishing second behind the re-opposing You Got To Me. She was the best filly in that race and hopefully she’ll get a smoother run!
16:10 – Noisy Jazz (each-way)
Noisy Jazz won a mile novice race at Newmarket a couple of weeks ago off a really good gallop. She takes a huge jump up in trip and class but looks to have a lot of potential. She has an each-way chance.
