18:10 Hamilton – Temper Trap (NAP)

Off a very attractive mark returned to Hamilton, TEMPER TRAP has a great chance of registering a remarkable fifth success in this race. Carvalhal (second choice) and Soveraine look to be the biggest dangers on form shown this summer.

18:40 Hamilton – Shanaz

Game runner SHAHNAZ remains favourably treated and is taken to complete a hat-trick. Lunario, who holds solid claims in this one, is feared most ahead of Beltane and Arkenstaar.

18:55 Windsor – Force and Valour

Marrakesh Express shaped with promise behind a smart prospect at Nottingham last time and could take a step forward, but the vote goes to FORCE AND VALOUR. He’s a half-brother to a Group 3 sprint winner and represents a yard with a 29% strike-rate with 2-year-olds here in recent years.

19:25 Windsor – Moulin Booj

This can go to MOULIN BOOJ, who travelled well for a long way when a close second in a Racing League handicap at Yarmouth last week. He raised his form to a new level with that bold bid and is a major player on this drop back in grade. The Coffee Pod ran another good race at York last Friday and he’s feared most, ahead of the in-form 7yo Sarah’s Verse.

19:40 Hamilton – Dark Vintage

Jordan Electrics is enjoying a stellar year and a 4lb rise for his latest win is fair enough, especially given the smart Topspeed figure. He isn’t sure to have Digital’s measure on these terms though and that’s without factoring in DARK VINTAGE. Richard Fahey’s 3yo has threatened better and the return to 5f at a stiff track can see him get off the mark for the year.

20:25 Windsor – Bonaventure

Most of these have something to prove but BONAVENTURE is well handicapped on his best form and didn’t get much luck at Chepstow last week. He looks ready for this step up to 1 m now and may be able to record his breakthrough win. The pick of the opposition could be New Kings Road, who scored at Salisbury in June and has claims if he can recapture that form.
