Goodwood 13.50 – Al Aasy
This looks wide open but I’ve landed on Al Aasy. He chased home Phantom Flight last time out at Newbury but he’ll come on for that run as that was his first outing of the season. He should overturn the Phantom Flight form and he’s got form at this Group 3 level. It’s a tentative pick but I’ll take the William Haggas runner.
Goodwood 14.25 – Forza Orta
I’m with Forza Orta for Kevin Ryan. This 1m6f trip is perfect for him and he’s got cheekpieces on for the first time, which is interesting. He’s a low weight and he’s a great price.
Galway 14.30 – So Scottish (each-way)
I’m with So Scottish, who has been around a while, however, he’s still only seven years old. The step up in trip to this 2m6f distance could be key and it could bring out improvement. He has decent form and he’s been competitive off his current mark of 129 in the past.
Goodwood 15.35 – Rumstar (each-way)
This is a really competitive race and I’ve landed on Rumstar at a big price. He ran really well a couple of starts ago at Newbury when finishing second to the reopposing Lethal Levi. I’m willing to forgive his Ascot run and I’m hoping he’ll bounce back and give a similar run to the Newbury outing.
Galway 16.50 – Dragon Of Malta (NAP)
Course form at Galway is always important and Dragon Of Malta has just that. Shane Foley takes the ride and the handicapper has given him a chance as he’s now off a mark of 70 which is more than workable. He’s a dual course winner and he ran well at Killarney last time out. He can go close.
