Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:25 Goodwood – Tropical Storm (Daily Express)

Norfolk runner-up TROPICAL STORM is taken to go one better and open his account. He is getting better with each race and his form stacks up nicely. Second choice is The Waco Kid, a promising colt who is the son of a Richmond winner. The Strikin Viking holds a major chance assuming he sustains his form for a new stable, while Billboard Star again looks set to perform well. A few others are interesting prospects who have the potential to get involved.

16:10 Goodwood – Fearless Freddy (Daily Mirror)

El Burhan hasn’t been fully extended over 7f yet and he’s greatly respected despite top weight. Defence Missile, Fred On Fire and Ralph Beckett’s pair Mr Chaplin and Original Outlaw all have something to recommend them, but the two against the field are Sunshine State and FEARLESS FREDDY. The former can have her latest Newmarket effort upgraded and 7f should suit, but the selection created a positive impression at Leicester, powering clear in the closing stages, and there should be more to come from him in a well-run race at the trip.

17:05 Galway – Nurburgring (Spotlight)

An intriguing contest. Daddy Long Legs has to come back from a poor effort at Tipperary, but the quality of his performance at Punchestown before that showed that he might even be a Grade 1 horse. Petrol Head is clearly a most interesting runner and the market should be revealing. Jesse Evans, should make his presence felt again, as should My Mate Mozzie and British challenger Under Control among others. Preference is for NURBURGRING, a good juvenile hurdler last season with a similar profile to last year’s winner Zarak The Brave.

18:30 Epsom – Parole Doro (The Times)

Imperial Trooper has the benefit of course experience and it was a nice introduction here two weeks ago, but PAROLE DORO may have too much ability for him. The selection chased home this week’s Vintage Stakes fourth Tiger Mask at Ascot after weaving his way through from off the pace.
