Paul Townend has sided with My Great Mate and he’s gone with the horse with course form. He won here last year but I like Dontstopthemusic for Martin Brassil. He was second here last year and he can go close again.
17:25 – Talk In The Park
It’s interesting that Nico de Boinville is over to ride Foxfire Glow for Gordon Elliott but I like Talk In The Park. He won well at Downpatrick last time out and Ross O’Sullivan’s runners are in fine form.
18:00 – Glan
I’m siding with Glan providing that we don’t get too much rain. The drier the ground the better for her. She won at Listowel last year and she backed that up with a win at Roscommon. She has a good shout.
18:40 – Redwood Queen
I’m with Redwood Queen for Charles Byrnes. She’s looked decent over hurdles in recent months and she’s won four of her last five runs, including a decent victory at Killarney ahead of Instant Tendance last time out.
19:10 – Zanahiyr
The Galway Plate is looking wide open. Mister Policeman is the pick of Paul for Willie Mullins. He has a chance and I’m not sure whether Saint Roi will stay. I like Zanahiyr for Gordon. He’s crying out for this trip and he’s the perfect type to win.
19:45 – Cornahilt Soldier
Cornahilt Soldier is entered after running and finishing fourth on Monday evening. My pal Frank Hickey is a big fan of his so I’ll side with the Kevin Smith runner. Wesley Joyce is on board and claiming 5lbs too.
20:15 – Stormbreaker
Riyami will be interesting if he runs but I’ll side with Stormbreaker for Willie. He hasn’t ran in almost two years but Colin Keane is on board and I’ll chance him.
