13:50 – Tony Montana
TONY MONTANA ran a really good race at York and he’s much better off on the weights compared to Enfjaar. On decent ground, which he won on at Chester, everything is swinging in his favour.
14:25 – The Parthenon
THE PARTHENON is a worthy favourite. He finished fifth on his debut at the Curragh but he followed that up with a win at Gowran Park in June. There is no standout horse in here so I’ll back Aidan O’Brien’s runner.
15:00 – English Oak
One of Noble Dynasty or ENGLISH OAK will win this. I saw the latter in the flesh at Ascot and you’ll struggle to find a better looking horse than him. He won the Buckingham Palace at the Royal meeting so I’ll keep him on side.
15:35 – Kyprios
It’s hard to get away from KYPRIOS. He isn’t a straightforward horse but the ground conditions will suit him so he has to be the one to beat.
