The vote goes to STRIKE, who is right at the top of his game. Vape, who should remain competitive, is second choice ahead of in-form Antiphon and well-treated As If By Chance.
17:50 Wolverhampton – Pride Of Nepal
Breguet Boy and Warrior Square haven’t been favoured by the draw, but both are capable of playing a part in this if they can overcome their wide stalls. Showlan Spirit has to be worth a second look under Simon Walker, but the vote goes to PRIDE OF NEPAL who made an encouraging debut for Tony Carroll at Epsom recently and drops back down in grade. Sea Of Charm and Rubellite are others to consider.
19:30 Wolverhampton – Bungle Bay
3yos Amroon and Cut To The Chase can both go well but this may be best left to the older horses. Outreach and Oriental Spirit (second choice) are greatly respected but BUNGLE BAY has conditions to suit and a recent turf run should have sharpened him up.
20:00 Wolverhampton – Kings School
Tambourine Dream (second choice) still has some potential and the longer trip can help, while Etretat comes here in good form and should make another bold bid. The return to AW, combined with the addition of cheekpieces, could see KING’S SCHOOL build on his latest promising run at Redcar.
20:10 Windsor – Lipsink
Nogo’s Dream should give it another good go, while the unexposed Leaves Of Grass and recent Doncaster winner Dandy Dinmont (second choice) also come into the reckoning. Returning to 5f looks a good move for LIPSINK though and he can register his second win for Mick Appleby with Oisin Murphy taking over in the saddle tonight.
20:40 Windsor – Lia Rose
Patronage is the only runner who has winning form but there are some interesting types among the maidens, most notably LIA ROSE who holds a strong chance on her Windsor efforts. One Cool Dreamer (second choice) is respected off a reduced mark. None of the others can be comfortably dismissed.
