14:00 Doncaster – Blazing Son

This looks open, with the suggestion being to side with BLAZING SON, who has been in good form and can again go well now he’s back over 7f. Brindley will be thereabouts again if able to replicate his latest effort. Support for Falcon Nine, who represents an in-form yard, would be interesting, while Onemorenomore is of each-way interest.

14:18 Worcester – Stumps Or Slips

Duke Of Luckley (second choice) isn’t passed over lightly but slight preference is for STUMPS OR SLIPS whose recent course form over shorter reads particularly well and who remains with potential back up in trip. Mix Of Clover has to be respected under his penalty if in the same mood, while it’s also reasonable to believe that there could be more to come from A Definite Getaway for this switch to fences.

14:50 Worcester – Getaway Glory

An open-staying chase. Do No Wrong is on the upgrade and has to enter calculations with Walking The Walk also capable of getting involved. However, although hard to knock, Almazhar Garde (second choice) is now looking a shade high in the weights and there’s a good chance that GETAWAY GLORY, who remains with potential in this sphere, might prove to be the better treated.

15:05 Doncaster – Daring Legend

This revolves around the improving DARING LEGEND, who escapes a penalty for last week’s 2l win in an apprentice handicap at Yarmouth. He should be tough to beat. Kings Merchant is next on the list back up in trip, ahead of Myal who could continue to improve now moving into handicaps. Tourist is another who can run well.

16:00 Worcester – Getaway Jewel

Second choice Dog Fox settled better when winning at Bangor and this 4yo may have turned a corner. The same could be true of a revitalised Parikarma and Right Now also commands respect. Another to bear in mind is GETAWAY JEWEL, who will be glad to see the back of testing ground and could easily stage a revival under Brian Hughes.

16:15 Doncaster – Empire Of Light

Financer is 2-2 in handicaps and has to be respected but preference is for EMPIRE OF LIGHT, who runs off the same mark as for last week’s near-miss at Ayr and is 4lb ahead of the handicapper. The consistent Prometeo can go well once more, while Glistening Nights may be able to bounce back from his York defeat now he’s back down in grade.

15:45 Worcester – Blow Your Horn

This longer trip is well worth exploring with BLOW YOUR HORN, who was a strong stayer on the Flat and has been in better form than most. Faerie Cutlass was in a consistent run of form until running no race at Cartmel and that can happen with newcomers to that track. Voodoo Doll has been making hay in points and could be interesting back with Evan Williams.
