Runner-up to a better fancied stablemate on chasing debut at Tipperary, STILL CIEL (nap) can go one better with that experience behind her. Miss Agusta was well behind the selection that day but can get closer now. Broomfield Bijou is respected on chasing debut.
14:58 – Mister Wilson
Though MISTER WILSON has a bit to find on hurdles ratings with Jazzy Matty, Carnfunnock, Palace Rock and Common Practice, he has experience over fences and is in form, so gets the nod.
15:28 – Bocellis Voice
A C&D winner in April, BOCELLI’S VOICE has since run creditably facing a tough task at Kilbeggan and can score again on this second handicap start. Freddie Robdal plus the stablemates Natural Breeze and Warm In Gorey are dangers.
15:58 – Rightfolksplease
Falcon Park was heavily backed at Sligo on debut for Emmet Mullins when disappointing but is surely better than that. Likewise Farrokh is better than he showed last time. Plenty of the others are out of form too, so a chance is taken on RIGHTFOLKSPLEASE to make a winning chasing debut.
16:28 – Kudasheva
Stamina looked an issue for KUDASHEVA when she finished behind some of today’s rivals over nearly 3m at Clonmel, where her jumping was sound in the main. Clifftop, runner-up that day, could be the danger, though Caesar Rock, Ossifer Hops and Secrecies Of Stone are all expected to play a part.
16:58 – Marronstown
Sea Aster would be very tempting if she gets in after impressing in a beginners’ chase last time. As things stand the suggestion is MARRONSTOWN who looks a horse on the up judged by his easy success at Punchestown. Temptationinmilan lurks on a dangerous mark.
17:28 – Ocodango Boy
The interesting horse is OCODANGO BOY who had the race at his mercy when departing two out at Downpatrick and he’s only 2lb higher here. The veteran Robin De Roost is in better form than many and he won’t mind returning to further. C&D winner Stormy Master may have needed his comeback run and also makes the shortlist.
