A few with chances in an open maiden. ARABIAN DIAMOND has shown that he’s up to winning one of these and there were excuses last time. Old Bill Barley should be on the premises if ready to roll after his absence, while useful Flat performer Qaasid needs a second look along with two or three others.

Saint Baol looks up to winning off her mark and the market needs checking to gauge expectations for handicap debutant Rhythm And Tyne. Another who can run well is MAGIC OLINGER who had an excuse when a beaten favourite last time and there’s a suspicion that she has more to offer.

This looks tricky. Marginal preference is for VALSORPRESA who posted a useful RPR when winning at Downpatrick and he found a bit of bother in running last time. Torquay Road could be the danger after having a bit in hand at Sligo. Miss Gherkin is getting better by the looks.

Sligo winner Ankud might yet improve some more and Flidais arrives here in a consistent run of form, but STRIKING is handicapped to go well and his final run over hurdles at Punchestown was respectable given the company he was keeping.
19:23 Kilashee (NAP)
It isn’t easy to oppose KILASHEE (NAP) after sauntering to wins over hurdles and fences lately. She is 11lb higher now over hurdles but if retaining her form can win again. The Mass Path is capable of better than her Bellewstown run when behind Boskill Borden. Island McCoo, Ranger Billy, Ladyeze Man and Brownstone are of interest.

A consistent sort who goes particularly well at this track, MY FRIEND THE WIND looks a solid proposition to record another win here. Loads have chances, though, with Duty Bound, Inforapenny, On My Bike and Stellar Symphony foremost amongst them.
20:23 Base Of Fire
The standard is set by BASE OF FIRE on the form of his two runs and with the prospect of further improvement he has to be the selection with Patrick Mullins taking over. Stand Back is an interesting newcomer and market moves should be noted. Steppingstone and Jazzwing have questions to answer after a year away. Eastbank Warrior and Leave In Secret are interesting.
