16:45 – Cordouan

The 7f trip was probably too sharp for CORDOUAN at Dundalk last week and he could be hard to beat if he has recovered sufficiently from that first outing of 2024. He can reverse form with fourth-placed Dynamic Force over this trip. Rick Dalton lacks a recent run but has a solid chance on his best form. Spanish Tenor has been out of sorts but is respected at these weights.

17:20 – Green Triangle

Aidan O’Brien’s newcomer Lambourn could feature but it may pay to side with the experienced GREEN TRIANGLE who beat J’Adore Chris convincingly at Roscommon. Lady O is unlikely to be far away.

17:50 – Thequietman

It is slightly concerning that THEQUIETMAN has not run since his debut second at Leopardstown in April but the form has been shown in a respectable light by the Group 3-placed winner. John Steinbeck has a superb pedigree and has been ready to run for a while. Monasterboice is consistent but limited.

18:20 – Fleur De Chine

Interesting contest and the three-year-olds look to have the edge. Top-rated Sakti won a Dundalk maiden in March and will take some beating if she retains the ability she showed last year, Greenfinch stayed the trip well in the Naas Oaks Trial last time although the drop in trip might not be a positive. Just behind her in fourth that day was FLEUR DE CHINE who did not seem to get home that day. The Gowran Classic winner should be more at home over the mile and go a lot closer here.

18:50 – The Blue Panther

Having slumped to a career-low mark THE BLUE PANTHER was an emphatic front-running winner on his stable/seasonal debut and may score again off 6lb higher, still a long way below his career-high marks. A few of these have good recent placed form. Perfect Curves and Glencullen may be the pick of them. The penalised Hokusai is another possibility.

19:20 – Barrogstown Girl

Few of these make many appeal. Last year’s winner Chimeric is of interest, while Status Green should be okay at the trip although some rain would be welcome. Thefullbackline is very likely to be more effective back at this trip, but the one to beat is likely to be BARROGSTOWN GIRL, a winner at Limerick last time over the trip and has not been harshly penalised.

19:50 – Elsa’s Pride

The more interesting of the two divisions. Ifitwasme should play a big hand despite a 7lb rise for winning at Tipperary. No Trouble is back to an exploitable mark, while Just Another Eagle should go well if settling better. Preference is for ELSA’S PRIDE, a consistent performer at around this mark and is 8lb better off with Ifitwasme from Tipperary.

20:20 – Final Orders (NAP)

A few of these have chances. Chutzpal can probably improve on his stable debut at Fairyhouse, Whispering Hopes has an excellent 7lb claimer on board. The step up in trip could even better suit Calmafterthestorm after winning at Down Royal. Gracesolution has held her form well, while Chatterbox has run his best two races on the Flat here. It could be hard to oppose FINAL ORDERS (nap) though, not seen on the level since winning at Bellewstown last year and 9lb higher now.
