Postileo bids to win the lucrative Phoenix Utilities Ltd Lanark Silver Bell Handicap (19:05) at Hamilton for the second season in a row, All-Weather Championships winner Prydwen tops the weights for the Kellihers Toyota Kingdom Gold Cup Handicap (19:12) at Killarney and there are also Flat fixtures at Ffos Las, Goodwood and Newmarket.

Magellan Strait, the winner of last year’s Irish Cesarewitch, attempts to get off the mark over sticks at the third time of asking in the New Forest Estate & Golf Club Maiden Hurdle (18:25) at Kilbeggan before Connacht National winner Paidi’s Passion takes aim at the Curragh To Curragh Charity Cycle On Saturday August 31st Handicap Chase (19:25).
